A meaningful next step

Prepared for the stage,
recognised beyond it.

At Bharatakalaksetram, we do more than train students to dance and perform beautifully. We prepare them, step by step, for two respected certification pathways available to classical artists in India: examinations conducted by Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh, and the Certificate Examination in Dance (Kuchipudi) under Sri Suravaram Pratap Reddy, Hyderabad.

Two recognised pathways

Study with direction.
Progress with purpose.

01

National pathway

Pracheen Kala Kendra,
Chandigarh

Founded in 1956, Pracheen Kala Kendra is one of the oldest and most widely recognised examination boards for Indian classical music, dance and fine arts. Its affiliated network reaches centres across India and abroad.

We guide students through the full ladder, preparing technique, theory, terminology and presentation so each certificate earned genuinely reflects the student’s skill.

02

Telugu classical tradition

Certificate Examination in Dance
(Kuchipudi)

Conducted under Sri Suravaram Pratap Reddy, Hyderabad, this examination is deeply rooted in the Telugu classical tradition and is especially meaningful for Kuchipudi students.

5

Our track record

Five successful batches.
Real artistic momentum.

Bharatakalaksetram has guided five successful batches through certification examinations. Several certified students have gone on to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the arts, carrying their foundation in Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam into formal academic study.

Why certification matters

More than a credential.

01

External validation

A credential recognised beyond our institution by examining bodies with decades of standing.

02

Structured progress

Clear levels give students and parents a visible sense of growth, not simply years of attendance.

03

Depth over performance

Examinations assess theory and tradition as well as stage presentation and technique.

04

Opens doors

Certified levels can support teaching, further academic study and professional recognition in the arts.
